One step. Nothing else.
A simple, tallow-based balm for women who are tired of fifteen-step routines and ingredient lists they can't pronounce. Grass-fed tallow closely resembles the fats your skin already makes, which is why it absorbs the way it does, and why your great-grandmother's generation used it without a marketing department to explain why.
It's called the golden balm because that's what it is. Rendered tallow, jojoba, castor and beeswax all sit somewhere between honey and cream, and the finished balm holds that colour in the tin.
This is a staple, not a spectacle. It goes on after washing, morning or night, and that's the whole routine.
How it smells
Bergamot opens it bright and a little bitter. Sage sits underneath as a dry herbal middle. Frankincense holds the base warm and resinous, with helichrysum bridging the two on a honeyed, hay-like note. Apothecary, but golden rather than austere. Closer to warm bushland at the end of the day.
How to use
Warm a small amount between your fingertips and press into clean, slightly damp skin. Face, neck, hands, anywhere that feels dry. A little goes a long way, so start with less than you think.
What's in it
Five ingredients and a four-oil aroma blend. That's all.
-
Rendered grass-fed tallow (65%) - the base, with a fatty acid profile close to skin's own
-
Jojoba oil (18%) - cuts the richness so it absorbs without heaviness
-
Castor oil (8%) - slip, glide and a soft sheen
-
Beeswax (8%) - structure and a breathable film
-
Essential oils (1%) - frankincense, bergamot, sage and helichrysum
Tallow, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Oil, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Peel Oil, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil, Helichrysum Italicum Flower Oil.
